Assistive technology (AT) can benefit all age groups and address a whole range of functional limitations. AT for All offers eight hands-on, interactive workshops—from the low-tech to the state-of-the-art, from education to employment, from independent living to leisure—something for everyone!

Session Description:
This hands-on, interactive workshop will demonstrate over 70 easy-to-make, low-tech assistive technology solutions made from readily available, inexpensive materials that enable individuals to "age in place" and remain independent and active at home and in their communities. The solutions include memory aids, back saving solutions, mobility aids, home modification ideas, solutions for low vision or hearing loss, and solutions for arthritis.

Assistive Technology Provider CEUs from RESNA (Rehabilitation Engineering and Assistive Technology Society of North America) will be available for an additional $16 per session if requested.

Who Should Attend:

Direct support and direct care professionals, and others who work with older adults and are interested in technology to promote independent living.
